Die Rangerin Theresa Schwalbe machte am 12. April eine seltene Entdeckung. Sie stand auf dem Sielmann-Beobachtungsturm<\/a> an den Gro\u00df Schauener Seen und h\u00f6rte vertraute Rufe.<\/p>\n

Im alten R\u00f6hricht entdeckte sie die Silhouette eines seltenen Vogels. Geh\u00f6rt hatte sie ihn schon oft. Gesehen, jedoch nicht.<\/p>\n

Rohrdommel (\u00a9 Theresa Schwalbe)<\/p><\/div>\n

Die fotografierte Rohrdommel befand sich direkt im R\u00f6hricht vor dem Turm und war daher sehr gut zu beobachten. Es war eine Zufallsbeobachtung, die Silhouette war gut zu erkennen, die Tarnung des Gefieders jedoch perfekt, vor allem, wenn sich die Dommel lang machte, also den Hals streckte und die sogenannte \u201ePfahlstellung\u201c einnahm, wie auf dem Foto angedeutet.<\/p>\n

Die Rohrdommel sonnte sich und putze ihr Gefieder. Somit konnte sie mindestens 20 min lang so zu beobachtet werden.<\/p>\n

G\u00e4ste aus Sachsen, die mit Fahrrad und Spektiv zur Vogelbeobachtung auf den Turm kamen, waren hin und weg. \u201eWir haben noch nie eine Rohrdommel gesehen, das ist das erste Mal, klasse, vielen Dank f\u00fcrs Zeigen!\u201c<\/p>\n

Die Rangerin h\u00f6rte au\u00dferdem mindestens f\u00fcnf weitere, rufende Rohrdommeln auf der gesamten Gro\u00df Schauener Seenkette.<\/p>\n

Dieses Naturschutzgebiet ist mit seinem beinahe durchgehenden R\u00f6hrichtsaum ein optimaler Lebensraum f\u00fcr die Gro\u00dfe Rohrdommel <\/a>(Botaurus stellaris). <\/em><\/p>\n

Die Gro\u00df Schauener Seenkette<\/a> geh\u00f6rt zum Vogelschutzgebiet SPA \u201eSpreewald und Lieberoser Endmor\u00e4ne\u201c.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
