Am Samstag, 9. September 2023<\/strong>, hei\u00dft es f\u00fcr Wanderfreunde wieder Schuhe schn\u00fcren, Wanderrucksack aufsetzen und das Ruppiner Seenland erkunden: Der Fontane-Wandermarathon geht in diesem Jahr in die vierte Runde und l\u00e4dt sportlich Aktive zum gemeinsamen Wandern ein. Die Anmeldung<\/strong> zur Teilnahme ist ab dem 6. Februar online m\u00f6glich<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Fontane-Wandermarathon\u00a9 Thomas Janowitz<\/p><\/div>\n

Ausgehend von dem Theaterdorf Netzeband<\/strong> im Amt Temnitz erwandern die Teilnehmenden eine entweder etwa 21 Kilometer Halbmarathon- oder 42 Kilometer lange Marathonstrecke durch den Naturpark Stechlin-Ruppiner Land. Auf den Spuren des namensgebenden Schriftstellers Theodor Fontane, dessen Todestag sich in diesem Jahr zum 125. Mal j\u00e4hrt<\/strong>, f\u00fchrt die Wanderstrecke durch die sp\u00e4tsommerlich bl\u00fchende Kyritz-Ruppiner Heide<\/strong> und durch das bewaldete Naturschutzgebiet rund um die Quelle des kleinen B\u00e4chleins Kunster. F\u00fcr die Marathonwanderer geht es weiter entlang der malerischen Ruppiner Seenkette<\/strong> durch die Ruppiner Schweiz<\/strong> bis in die Geburtsstadt des Schriftstellers, die Fontanestadt Neuruppin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Insbesondere auf Regionalit\u00e4t und Nachhaltigkeit legen die Veranstalter wert: So wird auf jegliches Einweggeschirr und Plastikverpackungen verzichtet, Infos zur Arbeit im Naturpark und Bio-Mineralwasser aus Rheinsberg gibt es an den Kontrollpunkten, und am Halbmarathonziel steht f\u00fcr alle eine warme Mahlzeit mit regionalen Produkten bereit. Auf die Zugabfahrtszeiten abgestimmte Bus-Shuttles bringen die Halbmarathon-Finisher zur\u00fcck zum Startort Netzeband oder zum Bahnhof Neuruppin. Und auch das Marathonziel liegt in direkter Bahnhofsn\u00e4he, um zus\u00e4tzliches Verkehrsaufkommen zu vermeiden.<\/p>\n

Veranstaltet wird der Fontane-Wandermarathon gemeinsam vom Tourismusverband Ruppiner Seenland e.V., dem Naturpark Stechlin-Ruppiner Land, dem Verein Fitness-TREFF Natur e.V. und dem Berliner Wanderverband e. V. Unterst\u00fctzt wird die Veranstaltung von der Sparkasse Ostprignitz-Ruppin,\u00a0 der Fontanestadt Neuruppin, dem Amt Temnitz und der Rheinsberger Preussenquelle. Brandenburgs Umweltminister Axel Vogel hat wieder die Schirmherrschaft \u00fcbernommen.<\/p>\n
