Am Samstag, 14. September 2024<\/strong>, hei\u00dft es f\u00fcr die bei der Buchung erfolgreichen Wanderfreunde wieder: Schuhe schn\u00fcren, Wanderrucksack schultern und das Ruppiner Seenland erkunden: Der Fontane-Wandermarathon<\/strong> geht in diesem Jahr in die f\u00fcnfte Runde<\/strong> und l\u00e4dt sportlich Aktive zum gemeinsamen Wandern im Naturpark Stechlin-Ruppiner Land ein.<\/p>\n

Ob man nun die gut 42 Marathonkilometer oder die 21 Kilometer lange Halbmarathonstrecke unter die F\u00fc\u00dfe nehmen m\u00f6chte: Beim bereits traditionellen herbstlichen Sportevent im FontaneWANDERland<\/strong> geht es nicht ums Schnellsein oder gar Gewinnen, sondern darum unterwegs Natur und Geschichte aktiv zu erleben und regionale Besonderheiten kennenzulernen.<\/p>\n

Jedes Jahr wird eine neue Strecke angeboten \u2013 das ist eine der Besonderheiten des Fontane-Wandermarathons. In diesem Jahr wird in der „festesten Stadt der Grafschaft Ruppin<\/em>“ gestartet, wie Fontane die Altstadt von Gransee einst beschrieb. Die Halbmarathondistanz f\u00fchrt dann bis nach Zernikow, wo schon Fontane auf seinen Wanderungen ein „wohlkultiviertes Gut<\/em>“ vorfand.<\/p>\n

Auf Regionalit\u00e4t und Nachhaltigkeit legen die Veranstalter wert: So wird auf Einweggeschirr und Plastikverpackungen verzichtet, an den Kontrollpunkten gibt es Infos zur Arbeit im Naturpark und Bio-Mineralwasser aus Rheinsberg, und am Halbmarathonziel steht f\u00fcr alle ein warmer Mittagsimbiss mit regionalen Produkten bereit. Auf die Zugabfahrtszeiten des Regional-Express 5 abgestimmte Bus-Shuttles bringen die Halbmarathon-Finisher zur\u00fcck zum Startort Gransee. Die Marathonwanderer kehren zu Fu\u00df zum Ausgangspunkt zur\u00fcck, k\u00f6nnen sich aber unterwegs ein zweites Mal bei einer Kaffeepause mit regionaler Kost st\u00e4rken.<\/p>\n

Veranstalter des Fontane-Wandermarathon sind der Tourismusverband Ruppiner Seenland e.V., der Naturpark Stechlin-Ruppiner Land, der Verein Fitness-TREFF Natur e.V. und der Berliner Wanderverband e. V. Unterst\u00fctzt wird die diesj\u00e4hrige Veranstaltung vom Amt Gransee und Gemeinden, dem Versch\u00f6nerungsverein Gransee e.V., dem Laufpark Stechlin e.V. sowie dem Lauftreff des SV Eintracht Gransee sowie \u2013 bereits traditionell \u2013 von der Rheinsberger Preussenquelle.<\/p>\n

Brandenburgs Umweltminister Axel Vogel hat wieder die Schirmherrschaft \u00fcbernommen f\u00fcr den „gr\u00fcnsten“ Wandermarathon Deutschlands.<\/p>\n
