April 2015 zur Abschlussveranstaltung ins Potsdamer Haus der Natur ein.<b> <\/b><\/p>\n<p>&#8222;<i>Mit ihrem ersten LIFE-Projekt konnten die Stiftung und ihre Projektpartner wesentlich zum Erhalt der Biologischen Vielfalt und zum Klimaschutz beitragen<\/i>&#8222;, res\u00fcmiert Bernhard Schmidt-Ruhe, Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer der Stiftung. In den vergangenen f\u00fcnf Jahren wurden zahlreiche Ma\u00dfnahmen zum Schutz und zur Entwicklung der gr\u00f6\u00dften Braunmoosmoore in Brandenburg umgesetzt. Moore gelten als Hotspots der Biologischen Vielfalt und tragen durch die Bindung sch\u00e4dlicher Treibhausgase zum Klimaschutz bei.<\/p>\n<p><b>Das Ziel erreicht<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Um die vielf\u00e4ltigen Funktionen zu erhalten, musste der Wasserhaushalt vieler trockengelegter Fl\u00e4chen stabilisiert werden. Insgesamt wurden 960 Hektar Moorfl\u00e4che in zw\u00f6lf Natura 2000-Gebieten wieder vern\u00e4sst. &#8222;<i>Wir haben unser Ziel erreicht und einige der wichtigsten kalkreichen Niedermoore in Brandenburg f\u00fcr die Zukunft gesichert<\/i>&#8222;, freut sich Projektleiter Michael Zauft.<\/p>\n<p>3,2 Millionen Euro brachte die Stiftung aus Mitteln der Ersatzzahlungen in das Projekt ein. Verdoppelt durch EU-Gelder flossen die Ersatzzahlungen in sechs Landkreise zur\u00fcck.<\/p>\n<p><b>Praktischer Naturschutz und Umweltbildung<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Mit den F\u00f6rdergeldern wurden auch Landwirte dabei unterst\u00fctzt, auf Mooren und Feuchtwiesen eine langfristige Pflegenutzung zu etablieren. So wurde die Anschaffung von Wasserb\u00fcffeln, Landtechnik und Weidematerial erm\u00f6glicht. Hervorzuheben ist die sehr gute Zusammenarbeit mit dem Landesbetrieb Forst, den Verwaltungsbeh\u00f6rden der Landkreise und den Gro\u00dfschutzgebieten. Sie haben ma\u00dfgeblich zum Gelingen des Projektes beigetragen.<\/p>\n<p>Nicht nur praktische Naturschutzma\u00dfnahmen, sondern auch \u00d6ffentlichkeitsarbeit und Umweltbildung wurden gemeinsam umgesetzt. Ein neuer <a title=\"Moor-Wanderweg Eichwerder\" href=\"http:\/\/www.naturschutzfonds.de\/nc\/newsfolder-nsf\/aktuelles\/news-details\/article\/moorwanderweg-eichwerder-bietet-seltene-einblicke.html\" target=\"_blank\">Wanderweg in Glienicke\/Nordbahn<\/a> macht Moore f\u00fcr die \u00d6ffentlichkeit zug\u00e4nglich und informiert \u00fcber den bedrohten Lebensraum.
